Pau & Janel

Pau and Janel come from big families from Pampanga, the Razons and Kos. Still, they chose to have their wedding in Tagaytay, in a quaint little place called, Chapel on the Hill. This chapel has a small altar and is usually chosen for small intimate ceremonies, so it’s rarely full. But on Pau and Janel’s wedding, it was filled to the brim! Practically their whole family came and overflowed the venue with love for the happy couple, even on a hot summer day!

So much planning goes into weddings. From the booking of the venue down to which earrings the bride will wear. This couple had one of the most seamless weddings I’ve ever covered. It wasn’t even only the organizers doing all the work, but the entourage was also very helpful.

And what a beautiful day that was! Especially with their chosen green and pastels color palette that went so well with the scenery. I’ll tell you, green’s no easy hue to use, with such a wide range!

Don & Cerisse

It was indeed a “perfect day” for both Don Mauro and Cerisse Erica to be married in Sta. Monica Parish Mexico as both are devotees of the Patron saint. The Filipiniana theme captured the richness and beauty of Philippine culture. The bridal gown is a flamboyant fusion of Filipiniana motif with a touch of Victorian. Friends, relatives and guests are awed by the inherent charm and insatiable simplicity of the wedding settings and scenarios. Philippine culture, heritage and products are in mind as you can see from the prenuptial photos, invitations, souvenirs and reception. Truly, this wedding is a delightful feast of love, beauty, artistry and ingenuity.

Christmas has been an inspiration for many an artist. Music composers, painters, novelists, and even fashion designers have all paid tribute to this glorious season. This year, four of Manila's brightest young designers, Joel EscoberJohn Herrera, Mak Tumang and Martin Bautista have been gathered to present couture collections inspired by Christmas stories and characters. I can't wait to see their frocks rock the runway. Happy Holidays!

Ting Hun: Modern Mix of Tradition and Style

I love how colorfully captured this Ting Hun was by We Do It For Love. Dave and Jamie celebrated their engagement with such rich hues, totally beautiful elements, and outfits that have a wonderful mix of modern style and tasteful tradition–so far one of the most amazing Ting Huns I’ve set my eyes on.
